Helping People To Experience And Express God's Love
James McClintock began his ministry as Pastor at Markham Street Baptist Church in May, 2010. He came from First Baptist, Moberly, Missouri where he had served the past nine years. James and his wife, Ava, have one adult child, Keaton.
James grew up in Bryant, Arkansas and received his Bachelor of Arts in Religion at The Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He received his Master of Divinity degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
After leaving Arkansas to attend seminary, Pastor James and Ava are glad the Lord has allowed them to return home after twenty-two years.
Kathy has over 40 years’ experience in the administrative field with positions that include human resources, accounting, secretarial, management and activities coordinator.
Kathy's first job at North Little Rock High School was as an assistant to the band director.  She gained a variety of knowledge and experience then by assisting high school band directors across the state and taking minutes for the American High School Bank Association meetings.  She spent 13 years at Jacuzzi Brothers beginning in the Cost Accounting Dept, Industrial Products, and later became secretary to the Treasurer.  She enjoyed a ten year career at Cisco-Eagle where she was a sales assistant to 25 sales reps. There she learned a great deal about inventory, ergonomic lifting devices, shelving and conveyors.
Kathy has been the Office Administrator for MSBC since February 2008.  Kathy keeps the prayer lists up-to-date, prepares the weekly bulletins, does accounts payable and payroll and isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves for any other areas in the church that needs attention.
Kathy lives in Benton and has three grown children in Haskell, Hot Springs and Heber Springs.  She also has four ‘kids’ at home which are made up of three dogs and one parrot.

Ava McClintock is the wife of our Sr. Pastor, Bro. James McClintock.  They have one son Keaton who is married to Jordan.
Ava has a variety of experience in different areas.  She is a 1988 graduate of Baptist Nursing College here in Little Rock and worked for 5 years as a nurse before relinquishing that career to be a stay at home mom to their 2 year old in 1992.  After Keaton started school,  she worked as the Creative Learning teacher at the Christian school he attended in Anderson, IN. She also worked as a substitute teacher at the public schools in Moberly, Mo.   She then became the Director of the Open Arms Pregnancy Resource Center in Moberly until they moved back to the Central Arkansas area in 2010.
She worked several office positions in Central Arkansas before becoming our Mother's Day Out/Preschool Director in August of 2015.  She has worked in children's ministry for the last 30 years as well as raising her own son.  She has also been active in women's ministry most of her adult years as a Christian.
She is an animal lover who owns 3 dogs and 2 cats.  She also likes to decorate and shop!!  Ava and James live in the Bryant area where they built a home when they returned.  They love to spend time with friends and family and relaxing at home.
